Record tutorials, bug reports, presentations or video calls straight from your browser. Choose what to share, include your microphone if you like, and download the recording when you stop. Everything is processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Recording tips
Close notifications and unused tabs, choose “Tab” to record just a browser tab with its sound, and keep recordings short so they're easy to share. WebM videos upload directly to YouTube and Google Drive.

Is there a time limit or watermark?
No. Record as long as you like, with no watermark.
Does it work on phones?
Screen recording in the browser works on desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Phones don't allow it, but they have a built-in screen recorder.
What format is the video?
WebM in most browsers (MP4 in Safari). WebM plays in Chrome, Firefox, VLC and can be uploaded to YouTube.
Is what I type sent to a server?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and there's no server behind it, so what you type never leaves your device and nothing is stored. You can check: it keeps working if you go offline after the page has loaded.
