About the Online Notepad
A distraction-free notepad that saves as you type. Keep several notes, switch between them, and download any note as a text file. Notes are stored only in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
- Start typing. Your note saves automatically.
- Use “New note” to add pages and the list to switch between them.
- Download a note as .txt whenever you like.
Questions
Frequently asked
Where are my notes saved?
In your browser's local storage on this device. They are not uploaded to any server.
Will I lose my notes if I clear my browser?
Yes. Clearing site data removes them, so download important notes as a backup.
Can I access my notes on another device?
No, because they are stored locally. Download the .txt file to move a note.
Is what I type sent to a server?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and there's no server behind it, so what you type never leaves your device and nothing is stored. You can check: it keeps working if you go offline after the page has loaded.
