Frequently asked
How is a lumpsum return calculated?
Future value = amount × (1 + yearly return)^years. ₹1,00,000 at 12% for 10 years grows to about ₹3,10,585.
Lumpsum or SIP: which is better?
A lumpsum invested early has longer to compound, so it often ends higher when markets rise steadily. A SIP spreads your buying over time, which lowers the risk of investing everything just before a fall. Many investors split the difference with an STP from a debt fund.
What return should I assume?
Returns aren't guaranteed. Long-term equity funds are often planned at 10–12% a year and debt funds at 6–8%.
Is what I type sent to a server?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and there's no server behind it, so what you type never leaves your device and nothing is stored. You can check: it keeps working if you go offline after the page has loaded.
